In 2017, Taylor Paige became Santa Barbara’s FIRST HydraFacial® specialist. Since then we have continually modified and enhanced the way we implement the technology into our Signature treatments.
The HydraFacial® is a medical grade, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that can be given in as little as 20 minutes, and can be customized and combined with other modalities. Sometimes referred to as ‘hydradermabrasion’, it gently exfoliates the surface of the skin while simultaneously infusing topical ingredients. It promotes long term skin health benefits and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. This multi-step treatment cleanses, evenly exfoliates, extracts and hydrates. The HydraFacial® delivers proprietary serums that are clinically formulated to address a variety of skin concerns. If you have congested, hyper-keratinized skin, the HydraFacial treatment is THE treatment for you! The patented Vortex-Fusion® technology is what sets the HydraFacial® apart from various other resurfacing procedures. Vortex-Fusion® allows these specialty serums to effectively absorb into the skin. With each serum, a different HydroPeel® tip is used. Each tip was meticulously designed using patented spiral technology to provide even exfoliation, vacuum suction, and product penetration.
LED Therapy: LED Therapy has been clinically proven to offer a wide range of benefits to the skin. When used as part of the HydraFacial MD®, it can be applied after specialty booster or immediately after the last step of the treatment to assist in product penetration and stimulate cellular activity. Red light improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and restores collagen production, while Blue light has great anti-bacterial benefits which aid in treating acne.
Lymphatic Drainage: As part of the HydraFacial® treatment, a small, glass hand piece using gentle suction is used to remove waste fluid and detoxify the skin from the inside out. The result is a noticeable decrease in swelling, puffiness and water retention.
